I think that would keep my spirits up, don't you?
I am all over palm fronds, ikat and black and white. Gold, glass and fantastic vignettes-
great lighting, great art, great tunic-
and this image of Ellen Pompeo's bedroom has my heart fluttering too. My mom bought me the most gorgeous blue and white hand blocked tablecloth for christmas ( see here for image ) it could be pretty gorgeous hung-

there are some fabulous hints of pink in this home
the gorgeous striped walls remind me of Michelles
A secretary / armoire that one day I will inherit from my mom and dad. They have two beautiful ones that my sister and I will happily take off their hands :)
galley kitchen, stunning octagon mirror and divine pink chairs
white and cream with amazing pops of citrus
love the wall mounted dresser and casualness of the room
our love of grey and yellow with more wall mounted cabinetry
I'd want to play in there too
When flipping through the November issue of Elle Decor I was struck by the beauty of designer Darryl Carters Washington DC townhouse. It is monochromatic, sophisticated a little time worn and truly magnificent. There are so many pieces of this home that speak to me.
The bench seat is taken to a whole new level. I seriously enjoy the black interior doors.
Not much needs to be said for this kitchen. How fabulous is the built in butlers pantry right on the island? The windows, doors, double range- it appears so simple and almost rustic but truly glamorous when you consider all the elements.
crisp cabinetry with time worn stools
when I saw this image I fell in love with the idea of a quiet little spot in the home. Yes, it could be an office as well, but what the photo captures is just simply peace + quiet. What home doesn't need a space like that?
