what's for dinner, drink wine instead of worrying + a huge thanks to you!

We meal plan. Saves our lives I swear. Aside from switching to cash only spending it is my favorite thing we started this year. Grocery shopping with purpose not only saves ALOT of money, but you use up all the food in the pantry and fridge, not throw out half of it when it goes bad! It's brilliant! Oh, and knowing at 4pm what you're starting for dinner instead of having to figure out what you have..heaven. Pour a glass of wine, put on songza and cook away :)

Here are a few things on our plan this week-

Bacon + avocado sandwiches. They actually fill you up. I'm going to mix up a little quinoa salad to go with it. I switch out the bun to gluten free bread to make it g free-

quinoa salad with pears, walnuts + chick peas

Shephards pie. OMG, it's delish. The personal ramekins ( I use french onion soup bowls because that's what I have ) are so fun. The kids love it too. This one is gluten free-

Asian lettuce wraps, so fun for everyone to get their hands messy ;)

Gallery Wall just went past the 600 item sold mark. Thank you SO much. I have so much fun with the paintings and answering your $10 questions. If you don't see quite what you'd like in the shop have a peek through the sold items, I can remake any piece there for you, custom for the same $10 price :) Colors + styles can all be switched up to make it work for you! xx

design philosophy | providing a foundation to grow and alter through the years, I keep the core basic and layer in the current, creating a room that is innately yours. I believe great interiors are not found in one shop. I know you should feel a sense of calm in your space as well as balance, and revel in that gut feeling that it’s the right fit. I couldn't agree more about meal planning. There are so many benefits to it. I really love hearing about your budgeting and that you've gone cash only. It's motivation for those of us who are doing the same. Have a wonderful weekend!

I need to be better at meal planning. I might have to try out the Sheppards Pie and the Asian lettuce wraps! Yummy!
