Is it summer yet? I'm longing for shorts and flip flops ( and warmth and sunscreen, drinks outside and walks with the wagon ).. yet in the summer I can't wait for sweaters and boots... why?! :)
I live in Phoenix so I am never ever longing for summer - I dread it more and more. Of course I understand that our winter isn't like most places, it's quite lovely here right now.
Thee doors are so inviting. I love snow and cold and am on a ski vacation , however, I am counting the days to late summer evenings, enjoying a glass of sangria ...
After my toes were freezing yesterday from the snow, I was longing for a sunny vacation spot! Hawaii was sounding really good to me. Wish I had the time!
Aw geesh i'm the SAME way girl. Couldn't wait for fall. Now that the holiday are over I'm ready to leave the house without thinking about so many layers... Even harder with a child!!
Sarah, I'm with you! Normally I'm the sad one that Christmas is over. But this year, I was tossing the Christmas Tree out the door and craving bright colors and sundresses!! What's wrong with us??
We got another bashing of snow in Muskoka again but luckily I'm in Toronto this week with grass and pavement. I love sweaters for about a month then I'm just dreaming of sandals, patios and umbrella drinks :)

Love all of these images... but esp the first. Would love to have something like that in my home one day!

That first picture is so fresh. What a great feeling.
Thanks Sarah...I can't believe how everyone really likes this nursery! So excited!
I feel the exact same way! After Christmas I am sick of the cold but in August I am sick of 102 degrees!
I've had enough of winter too! These images make me want summer!
haha! I am still loving the cold. this summer was brutal, 100 plus almost daily. I would so love an extra space like that. I would so use it as a gym.
Winter: Hate the weather;love the clothes! Summer: Just LOVE!:)
i think it's time for you to take a hot vacation, at least that's how most of my canadian friends survive the winters :)
i adore the built-in bunk bed concept.

NO MORE WINTER!!! I'm right there with you!
I love a decent sized guest house with built in beds just like that first photo. One with warm summer breezes flowing through and no bugs!!
It's strange how we want when we can't have!
Wishing you a truly special 2011 Sarah ~ Deb

OK, lets see...it is 01/05 so by my calculations we still have a good 4 months of the white stuff. :(
can't wait!

Love these images! I too long for summer weather...I am a wimp in the cold!
Love the first image with the bunk bed nooks and the rope ladder! The ladder adds whimsy, but the clean white palette keeps it sophisticated!
I LOVVEEEEEE those bunkbeds. I want something similar in our vacation home.
i'm with you! summer can not come fast enough. that dreamy little house looks absolutely divine.
cottage love! great post - i'm so longing for the green of spring.
oh, I'm right there with you!
