best beige

For me, it's simple and calm. That's so what I need to decompress after a day's work, kids and activities. A quiet space of beige :)

canadian house & home, Lindsey Bond's space, and a bedroom by Michael Angus (also via ch&h )
This nightstand was in the back of my mind when I redid the ikea dresser. I'm still so smitten with it!

I did a little blog clean up ( simplify!) and have started pages for contributors, features and little projects around the house. If you want a peek, they're all under the header. x

Great bedroom inspiration! Thanks!! The first thing I need to buy when we get home {from being overseas} is a dining room table & chairs, any inspiration pictures to share?! LOVE your style:)

I saw that picture and thought...I am sure that dresser is the "real" thing...not the Ikea one :) But dang it is almost identical for sure.

What beautiful rooms. It is amazing how when a room feels calm, it changes your room. I feel like that when my house is freshly cleaned and organized.

I enjoy the beiges and agree it is a very relaxing color.

The creamier the better.

That first bedroom looks like a dream! It would be very difficult to leave that room every morning.

Beige is weirdly terrifying to me. I'm always afraid to go that route because if you get beige wrong, it's REALLY wrong. I'm bookmarking these as inspiration to think of beige in as a lovely color option.

I am continuously intrigued by built in closet spaces like those in the first bedroom. They add such beautiful detail to the room while being functional. It's really lovely.
