trending

sarah says unexpected color combinations, tommy says brass is the new chrome and genevieve says blush with oyster and grey. Are you tapping into any of these trends? I am such a fan of brass injections ( but I mix all metals! ) and I love the blush / oyster combo.. you?

grey and orange are fabulous in this bright little kitchen

Senior designer Natalie Hodgins along with Sarah Richardson dreamed up a sweet, bright and wonderfully inviting space by re imagining an Ikea kitchen.

My favorites? The marble back splash and the grey cabinets. My girls would flip for a little window bench at the table...

jens pick { country home }

Oh what i would do if I had an old farmhouse to fix up...I am loving 'sarah's house'--hosted of course, by one of my favorite designers Sarah Richardson.
Her spaces are truly flawless in my eye....I could move into any one of them!
{don't you love the whimsy of the numbers on the stair risers?!}

xo j.

Jen, I couldn't agree more! I"m loving the antlers in the kitchen + the numbers on the stairs.. you have great written font, can you come do my painted basement steps for me?! xo

signature style

If any designer can really capture a mood, Sarah Richardson can. Such a distinct signature style, that she can modify to meet every clients needs. Her rooms are magnificent. Rooms you want to live in. One of my favorite things about her is the fact she can make a whole home cohesive. Personally, so important to me. I like each room to flow to another. [Not different styles in each room of your home]. Pick a style and make it great- make it your-signature.
