the first two images so fit my aesthetic, but I want to mix in a bit of the third. Which was my plan for the basement, but to date, it's not working and is sitting a mess :(

I'm working on a second desk space for myself. This one's in the newly finished basement. I have an overwhelming urge to be surrounded by controlled clutter -

I've posted this dreamy kitchen before. I love it-
I also love the stools. Alot. While they wouldn't work in my kitchen with 2 little girls ( they would so fall off ), I'm thinking maybe for my desk downstairs-

I found a post at Nest Egg that sourced them at Amazon. Hmm..

I'm thinking my sister could sew me a little slip cover.

my new ( old ) desk

I feel like saying Ta DA!

I am so happy with how it turned out. I have to tell you I have had this desk/ vanity for a lot of years and have been totally intimidated to refinish it.. would I wreck it or hate it?

Well, I'm pretty darn smitten with it now. Mind you it's not styled, and the wall trim isn't up yet ( well it is now, but not painted ) so I'll show you in a few days once I've lived with it for a bit and sort it all out.
