change is good [ new lighting ]

I have loved having my school house pendants over our kitchen island. But you know how sometimes a change will update the space? Here's what happened... Remember the $10 lights I updated and replaced those weird wavy lights with? My ultimate plan was to have them switched out to potlights, which I can now excitedly say is happening this month. Our main floor isn't very big, and all of a sudden I find all I see is lights, which is bugging me. SO, out go the pendants, and more potlights in their place.

I'm going to add one show stopper over the kitchen sink though... hello gorgeous

Hicks pendant in polished nickel is so me. Pleased to say even the hubs is on board.

( crazy how much changes.. looking at the kitchen in the lighting link, we now have new bamboo blinds in the window, and the wall is black! The hicks light is going to pop! )
