It's a busy few weeks for this little miss. Calleigh started her second year of preschool last week, she now goes 3 mornings a week. She just fell into the group who could go to kindergarden, but from all the mom's I spoke to holding her back one year was the way to go. She's 4.5, and gaining the social skills this year. Last year she was a timid little bug. This morning we are off to the first ballet class.. we were perfecting our ballet bun last night ;)

Calleigh is adorable & all the best for another great school year. I think holding a child back is a great gift for the child. It use to come with such a stigma but I think the reasoning was left in the dark ages as now it's not like that, thank goodness. I wish I had done that for my eldest daughter who's birthday fell mid-summer. Would of gave her one more year of coming into herself.
You all have a great rest of this week ( :
she looks so cute! :)
AWW She is precious! :)
what a little munchkin! adorable!
Aww, how sweet! I love the photo in front of the chalkboard idea - what great way to document!
What a sweetie - love her little dress! And, great idea with the chalk board. :)
She's precious!!! In our neck of the woods the Kindergartners are mostly around 5.5 - 6 (I teach art classes to that age group), I'm sure she'll do fantastic and have a happier time being around those closer to her age.
Happy back to school Calleigh! :D
You will be so happy that you didn't rush her ahead into school...if you had let her go ahead.... it would catch up with her in Grade 5 when puberty starts with all her friends in her grade. The younger girls in the class feel left behind. I've seen it happen. Good call Mama!
She's adorable. Have fun at ballet. (So jealous).
