hexed

The lure of the hexagon.. I know I love it!

Incredible marble tiles on the wall, and a complimentary hexagon on the floor- holy smokes!

Ok, I know it's not a hex, but it's darn close and brilliant in it's own right-

and another bathroom at the opposite end of the spectrum from the first. Rustic, organic and gorgeous! I've never seen a hexagon tile like this one before!

These are all gorgeous! I have that marble hexagon tile on my master bath floor but it is really stunning on the walls too. I just visited Ellis Island a couple of weeks ago and I was reminded of just how old and wonderful these architectural details are..... the first building the immigrants were ushered into is full of hexagon tile, herringbone patterned walls and marble.
