between the layered mantle, fabulously styled coffee table, rattan color and texture, this is another room on my love list! Oh, and is that a turtle shell I see in the fireplace? I have to ask.. I love the look of these- are the turtles being harmed for their shells.. can someone fill me in?! Thanks.. Happy Easter! x

I have seen turtles on the beach that have died of natural causes and I guess you could harvest the shell in that case...but it's not likely. I'd say it came from a region of the world where animals are still killed for their shells/fur/hide...
