I am positively smitten with elements from each of these images. I had someone comment on my home asking if my overall look was black and white. I never considered that before, but when I look around, and at these inspirational pictures that encompass my style and 'colors' there is a strong presence of black and white. But it's also softened with soft blues, alot of beige and cream, and brown and wood tones. So I guess to me it's not so black and white! I love my layers of color ( or non color ;) )

These are so pretty! I just read a book about a couple in the 1920's who designed their house to have white walls, black floors and black furniture with the only color being in massive vases of fresh flowers! It was said to be stunning. If only there were a picture instead of just my imagination.
