a question about bridal showers

Ok ladies! I'm hosting a bridal shower in June and I need your know how! I know there are a ton of creative and ingenious girls out there..so chime in! I've got decor done ( and it's good! so excited! ) but I'd love to know what are some great games / ice breakers and preferences for food + snacks..

Sarah, bridal showers are exciting. It has been 15 years since mine, oy! Finger foods, a signature cocktail, and a lovely dessert buffet is great. Important to assign someone to take notes about the gifts (someone who knows the bride and most of the guests). Make a hat out of the wrapping paper and bows/ribbons from the gifts (or a bouquet) - you can assign someone creative to do that and you can take a picture of the bride wearing it (or holding it at the end of the party). Have a blast.

One that I think is fun and easy to do is to call the future husband and ask him a list of questions like "where was your first date" or "what is her favorite restaraunt" and so on. Then ask her the same questions and see if she gets his answers right.
I love girly foods at showers. Fruit, tea sandwichs, brie etc. BTW- you look great with dark hair!! Gorgeous!

Hello! I held a bridal shower and made it a bridal shower/book party. Everyone brought a wrapped book along - without a tag - and as the guest on honor opened them she had to guess who brought the book. It was really fun and funny. All kinds of books.

I consider myself a vetran of showers, bridal, baby, etc! And what ive found is... no one likes games!! Haha, the only thing i would do which is a big hit is either video tape or just interview the groom and ask different questions about the couple, where they met, what his favorite feature of hers is, etc etc, Then make a quiz for the guests to take. It is so much fun! Especially if you video tape him, then you get to see his cute and funny facial expressions and answers! I've also done a little idea where the guests write wishes, hopes, or prayers to the couple on index cards and I put them in a cute box (homemmade or bought) and the couple opens them on their 1st anniversary!
