I have always been a fan of a frame hung on the outside of a bookcase.. you? Would you/ have you?

I love it. I have not done it in my house yet but I don't think my built-ins are set up right to do it. But I have done it in some of my client's homes.

Yes! Love it. I just did the same thing with the bookcase in my office. I was afraid to put a nail in the bookcase frame so I used a command hook and it worked. I am really happy with the look.

I also love this idea but have worried about filling the nail hole in wood once the painting is removed. anyway, check out my new design blog..hope you like it as much as I enjoy yours

I have appreciated this look for along time! I would love to do it with our bookshelves,but the husband says its not practical. BLAHHH!
