i forgot all about baked grapefruit and was just telling my husband the other morning that i'm stumped about what to have for breakfasts! thank you for that - baked grapefruit reminds me of my dad's breakfasts and how my mom would always top it with brown sugar or honey, all cut up with our grapefruit 'piece slicer' - what is that called? maybe i should try to find a good one for the shop...

i have been baking my grapefruit ever since a friend's mom served them for dessert years ago. she topped with a drizzle of local honey, a mint leaf and few shavings of chocolate. OMG i nearly died! love your blog!
