it's these moments-

Designer Kitchens
I had a moment today that as a mom, was a HUGE accomplishment. The kind that you want to jump up and down, high five people and tell everyone you know. So I'm telling you :) For the first time in our family's history, we drove with the kids for more than an hour and a half. You're probably laughing, people do it all the time. I know my parents did. every summer. Well, we made it all the way from Calgary, Ab to Swift Current, Sk today. Almost 5 hours.. got the girls up at 6:30am, they were AMAZING. Oh, and another first, both kids in the pool at the hotel, loving it. BIG day. High five? x

Oh, the kitchen.. it's gorgeous. From here.

I don't have kids but from what I understand, this deserves a high five. :) And this kitchen is one of my all-time faves.

Congrats! Big high five from me! We barely leave our house with all our kids! Ha! If that was my kitchen I'd never leave- love it!

That is a major accomplishment. We don't live near any family so we've been doing 8-13 hour car trips with our boys since they were born. Can make for a stressful ride. Sounds like you had a nice ride, so kudos to you. And I'm sure you are a superhero in the eyes of your kids, a hotel with a pool that wins you major points:)

WOW You are very lucky!!! Yes... That is a HUGE accomplishment for you & your family! We're not at that stage yet with Ryan {crazy 2 1/2 year old}. He's still a little wild. I will jump up & down for you!!! Lucky lady you are... Good job!

Alexandra

SHUT UP!?? SWIFT CURRENT? my husband's mom grew up there! Miller was her last name, Darlene her first and Elva is her Mum. There must be some connection, I'm sure.

Love the kitchen! We're planning on renovating our kitchen sometime this year and I'm looking for just the right look, and I had my eye on a grey and white combination.

Wishing you a wonderful week!
