adding holiday elements

cute little trees bought this past weekend while visiting my parents ( thanks Mom! )

+ my favorite Brian Gluckstein glass hurricane with a soy candle

+ my entry.. see ya DIY art, the holidays are moving in :)
I find myself pre planning my holiday look this year. It's going to be subtle. I have all my stuff organised in the basement, and am fitting together in my mind where it's going. I am doing everything I can to avoid the 'haul up 8 boxes that were randomly packed because I just had to get all the decorations put away because I was sick of looking at them, now it's time to decorate again and I should have thought this out because now I just have 8 boxes of stuff I have to put somewhere, but where?' You know what I mean?
Visit Rikshaw Design to see my holiday gifting ideas, and don't forget to enter the giveaway, today's the last day!

The last few years I've done minimal decorating (except lots of trees we go nuts with them) but this year I'm reconsidering. It will all come down to time. Can't imagine having haul the stuff up stairs, ours is out in the garage and to be honest, my husband usually brings it all in so I can't complain. Good Luck!

Love your entryway and can't wait to see what you do for the holidays. I'm still at a loss- thinking pink or white tree though...we shall see. xo

I love those little trees! I know how you feel about hauling boxes up. My last house had two flights of stairs and it was a workout. Thank goodness my current house is all one level! Can't wait to see what you do with your decor. I'm sure it will be beautiful!

Sara,
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I'm delighted to meet you.

I was out today looking for some little trees just like yours. Yikes i might have to go drive in the country to find any.
I also frustrate myself for not being better at packing it all away. I do it different every year and every year I'm confused as to where this and that is...hmmm is it in that green bin?
You know the drill.
Your blog is wonderful and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Have a happy thanksgiving, Lisa
