make it your own, the little black cardi
I'm guessing there are alot of us who have a little black cardi. Anyone looking for fresh ideas on what to wear with it? I would LOVE to know how you wear yours! Whether it's over a white tee, or belted with leopard.. how would you wear a little black cardigan?

This is one of THE wardrobe staples in my opinion. I wear mine with jeans and t's, over dresses with spaghetti straps, most certainly belted over rompers (particularly if the sweater is just a bit longer) - really the possibilities are endless!

Hi Sarah. Most of the year we get away without cardi's and coats, that's the sub-tropical Queensland climate for you! So come winter I look forward to layers and wraps. I would have to add a scarf and scrunch the sleeves up to reveal some of my shirt beneath. Have fun, Lisa
Oh added a belt is definitely my favorite thing to do. Especially if I had a leopard belt!

It can go any which way, but today I am thinking over a brightly colored dress paired with black flats.
leggings, high boots and cardi's are my thing on the days I'm not at work. I just like the cardi open over a longer top. I must have staple - thanks for sharing!

A black cardi (or any colour of cardi) is definitely a staple in my wardrobe. I wear it with EVERYTHING! You know how it goes in Alberta, you must dress in layers!
Everyone needs a black cardi. I love the simple class when worn over a white tee. It totally dresses up the outfit.
And Calleigh ... SUCH a cute way to spell her name!

I have a marc jacobs one almost exactly the same from a few years back... they are such a great staple piece.
I wear it with everything (in fact it's getting a little worn). But my fave is with my hudson skinnies and my over the knee riding boots. xo

I have two of the Brooks Brothers no iron white shirts that were featured on Oprah. I would wear one with the black sweater. I would wear a thick gold necklace and maybe drape a leopard print long skinny scarf that I made over it. Keep it simple. Ann
I LOVE cardi's. I have several in different colors and lengths. I like to wear them over printed button downs, over tees and jeans and over sleeveless dresses. I just started getting into belts and have been belting my cardi's too! Would love to add a leopard print belt to my wardrobe.
