yesterdays kitchen post brought up the topic of white vs stainless appliances. One of the first things I noticed when looking at this kitchen was the appliances. They are not just gorgeous, they are white and gorgeous! I love them. I've had black appliances, and I have stainless appliances, and honestly, hate them. They are impossible to keep clean. Heaven forbid the kids touch them or a drip of water runs down the dishwasher...
White kitchens are my favorite, and I can't foresee a future home that I would veer away from a creamy white cabinet, so that poses the question, would I do white? Would you?

Yes, everyone loves stainless, but it is 'cold' so I would go with white...though I am partial to a fridge with a bright color!!
Love that white industrial size multi door, one. Now just for a whole wall to build it into
Love the white but I do like a touch of stainless as well.
I love the white and am actually glad we haven't been able to fix up our kitchen. I might have chosen stainless. That fridge in the second to the last photo is amazing! That's a conversation piece!
I would do white, absolutely! I'm no sure it would sit our house, but I do love it.
My parents have a wooden fridge (just to add another dimension to the stainless steel vs white debate). They had the fridge built into the wall and the covered with the same panels as the cupboards. The dishwasher is like that too. It looks really cool!

Yeah! Thanks for weighing in on this. I agree with you on the white issue. Julie of Milk and Honey Home and I have discussed this, too, via our posts and comments back and forth. Sometimes white is just really the best choice.
All the best, Donna
I would so do white if they looked like these!
I think it depends on the room and the finishings. Some rooms scream for stainless, others for white. I think i'm partial to white because they seem classic to me.
Very pretty kitchens!
Yes - if done right like these. Works well in small kitchen too because it doesn't break up the room.
I have all white appliances now and we love them...I think more kid-friendly and timeless. Cheaper, too :)
You could always do cabinetry panels to really help it blend with the cabinets- like the last image.
I think the problem with white appliances is that most don't appear chic or high end. Some companies have started making white (and black) glass versions. (I believe that's what the first image is)
So they are glossy and quite stylish. You still probably have finger print issues with them though....
I like white appliances in an all white kitchen....it just visually flows better. But, I do like stainless everywhere else...even with white cabinets and dark counters. When you add something dark in it breaks it up and then stainelss works.....for me anyway :)
When I think of white appliances I always have images of the cheap white appliances but must admit I love these! This may become the new trend instead of stainless.
That light fixture above the island is fab-u-lous.
Absolutely! White kitchens are gorgeous... and have to be better than cleaning little fingerprints off of all my stainless appliances!
OH! The 2nd and 3rd pictures are lovely. The white appliances make these kitchens. I'll have to save these for my "dream kitchen". Thanks for sharing!
agree 100%

love these white appliances! Unfortunately, when most people go with white ones they don't look anything like these. I have to say I'm wishing I could afford one of these white options!
I am so partial to a white kitchen...I love my stainless steel appliance, but these are all so great as well!
just found your blog via Pink Wallpaper, and I"m totally smitten. And I always prefer white appliances. I'm looking to get an Allfridge for my new house and can't seem to find one that is offered in white :( Can't wait to see many inspiring posts in the future.
