over and over ( and over ) again, I lean towards traditional with a twist-

what's your thing?

  1. Hi Sara, My own style would have to be indoor / outdoor, natural interiors with an eclectic twist. I love rooms that tell a story about peoples lives and experiences. Have a great weekend, Lisa

  4. I'm not sure I can pin one look down...I like so many different design aesthetics...I do like traditional with a touch of modern and color...but then again, I love a Scandinavian look of whites and pale colors!! :))

  5. Love all of these rooms! The bathroom is just so luxurious and the idea of an ottoman tucked neatly under the double sinks is brilliant. I adore the tufted bench with glass table and chippendale chairs. I like the small scale of the mirror in the bedroom- combined with the black lamps it is simple but quirky. I would describe my thing as hollywood regency meets mid-century mod meets sixx design:)Have a great weekend!

  15. Love all these images! I am also a huge fan of soft colours!

I adore your blog and recently started my own here in Vancouver, BC. I'm a mom to a 2 year old girl and needed a creative outlet.

I recently also posted that nightshirt from Kayce Hughes - so cozy!!

Thanks for your inspiration - I enjoy it as a daily read.

  16. Traditional with a twist is a great way to sum it up. I have to add in a dash of artistic flare. I gravitate to modern, but don't have a modern thing in my house. Definitely love contemporary/traditional, clean lines and not a lot of clutter. Those pics are fabulous. That is a dream vanity, I'm drooling:)
