I have a thing for a sitting area in the kitchen. Maybe one day I'll have enough room to have my own, and the twin doubles, love.

I'm loving all the kitchen pictures you post! We are building a new house (as we speak) and your blog has been wonderful for Kitchen inspiration! We are doing very similar kitchen to your first picture on this post. Dark floors, white cabinets, marble countertops, and a seating area, breakfast nook!
ReplyDeleteWhen we move in and get settled in 4-5 months I will send you pictures of the finished kitchen which you helped inspire!

ReplyDeletei have the same obsession with sitting areas in kitchens. kitchens are always my favorite part of any home, so it makes total sense to have a cozy little nook. if i had one in my kitchen i would never leave!

ReplyDeleteHi Sarah - I'll def be saving the first pic... we have a big kitchen that needs a nice bright reno job sometime in the next few years. We'd ather like an island bench to sit at, plus lots of white everywhere. Thanks for posting it!

That first picture is really great - I have never seen it before. I love that the sitting area is where you might expect the kitchen table to be, and vice versa.
