What's going on with those drawers in the back? Are they mirrored or stainless steel? I love the entire kitchen, but I can't stop looking at those drawers!
I just finished designing a kitchen with a island quite similar to this one. I talked to the client yesterday and that's the thing she mentioned that she loved the most! Very beautiful.

I reno'd my kitchen in 08 and did all drawers on my island! BEST thing ever, LOVED it! So great for post and pans, not to mention all the "tupperware" containers! Have moved since and miss my granite counter, glass tile back splash and island drawers the most!
I did our entire kitchen in drawers with the exception of the under-sink cabs and a trash pull-out. We couldn't be happier!! This image is one of my favorites. By the way, the back cabinets are faced with polished stainless steel...
I have a fairly large kitchen, but there is hardly any cupboard space (we don't even have a pantry!). We plan to have an island built that will have stools on one side and drawers on the other. I love kitchen islands.

ReplyDeleteI think this is perfect too! You can never have too many drawers. I love the light and dark woods mixed together. The lights are great too.
