randomness in pictures

It's such a treat to be getting more time outside! I use simple and crisp boxwoods on my front porch-

We have a decent sized porch with rockers, and these Crate & Barrel pillows found a new home outside. It's the weirdest spot.. it never gets wind or wet!

I recently added a new color block series to the shop.. I have to say I'm personally smitten with it :)

I am thrilled to say our main bath/ powder room reno is DONE! Holy smokes.. that was drawn out! Oh well.. the delta faucet went in yesterday and boy o boy it's fabulous! I'll be sharing full bath pictures soon!

If you follow me on instagram I'm sorry for the 800 pictures of little dancers, they were just too cute when getting their dance pictures taken!

I realised it's been about 100 years since you've seen me ( holy, I'm full of exaggeration today! ha ha ) I have to say I'm feeling the best I have in a long time. I'm letting my bob grow out, I'm loving it done with waves lately, and it's SO easy to do. 5 minute hair is so fantastic! I started a killer workout class a few weeks ago, that has changed my body for the better. My butt is firmer and round, I'm getting abs.. holy smokes.. it's awesome! I've never been a workout girl ( ever! ) until I started taking my girl friends classes. She's killer, and she's kinda my girl crush ;) If you're in Calgary, you need to try these classes!

My girlies like to paint with me when I stock the gallery wall shop.. do they look familiar?! ;)

call it preppy, call it classic-

whatever way you look at it pink|navy|white is a brilliant combination. It inspired me today.. we had a girls afternoon that included a fabulous pedicure..I was wearing navy + white stripes with white linen shorts and added a bright pop of pink on my toes. What a fun combination-

did I choose a lovely shade of greige to stain my deck?!... Absolutely..the more this outdoor space plays off the rest of the house, the happier I am!! It's been raining all week, so no time to finish up the back yard re|do, but here's a glimpse of the new deck :)

pretty | just because I feel like posting pretty..

A little bit of pretty before I bore you with back yard nonsense...   :)

How's your long weekend?! May long weekend in Alberta usually signals official 'work in your yard and plant your gardens' weekend. Well we did just that..sort of. A while back I told you about a big backyard redo we had been planning. We started, and switched gears completely part way through.. :) too funny! Well we saved ourselves alot of time, money and energy with the changes ( but holy snap.. yard work and decks..money pit!! ). I'm loving the new direction, and will head out to take some pictures for you to see my new outdoor space really soon, there are just a few little details I have to sort out  :) I was though, continually shocked at the cost of little projects.. new stairs off the deck ( yes they're 10 feet wide, but whatever ) $120. Stain for the deck $50.. plants, holy smokes, little plants for two pots, $60.. now I know why in past years I only bought two boxwoods for my front entry! ;) Oh well.. it is another usable room now!
