a peek in my tiny closet

There have been alot of FABULOUS closets being shown this month on my favorite blogs.. I'll warn you now, mines not fabulous-

It's tiny. And two of us share it! In the past few years I have pared down my clothes, limiting the pieces I buy and styles I wear-

It's just finally organized again. My mother in law gave me a box of wood hangers for christmas ( awesome! ), and those alone make my clothes and closet feel rejuvenated!

It was lovely to reorganize clothes by work/ casual & athletic, color, and get all accessories back together-

I can only have one season at a time in there.. the off season gets stored in C's room ( it sort of sounds like I have alot of clothes, I don't.. it's just that small of a closet :)

Everything in it's space, sigh

I love to have my spaces organized :)

Lisa Sherry Interieurs based out of NC has built a firm with personality, charm and wit. It's so apparent, and I adore it.

best beige

For me, it's simple and calm. That's so what I need to decompress after a day's work, kids and activities. A quiet space of beige :)

canadian house & home, Lindsey Bond's space, and a bedroom by Michael Angus (also via ch&h )
This nightstand was in the back of my mind when I redid the ikea dresser. I'm still so smitten with it!

I did a little blog clean up ( simplify!) and have started pages for contributors, features and little projects around the house. If you want a peek, they're all under the header. x

I like your style

It's casual, inviting, it has a bit of tradition ( which I love ) and it's gorgeous. Do you guys know Bryn Dunn? Her style is so my style. She loves great finds, she paints furniture and her home is so appealing. It looks fabulous, but you can tell it's a get comfy and cuddle up kind of space. So up my alley..

and her portfolio.. oh so good.

gold dust

I do love a bit of gold + brass, it carries such warmth-

like a little nail head detail on our chairs,

another gold lined bowl, I may be starting a collection!

it's even apparent in my choices of accessories,

old brass pulls have such character

and the thrift find light I picked up months back-

I have alot of metals mixed in this house, but I like the contrast :)

new to the entry

I've had in my mind that I would like a glass ball. (orb, sphere, whatever you want to call them). I found this one at Crate and Barrel before christmas. It weighs a ton, and Kevin calls it a bowling ball, but oh well, I like it :) and yeah I'm growing paper whites again.. I just can't get enough!
Oh, +
When I came across this, I knew I had to share.. turn a bracelet into a necklace, it's brilliant!
Have a wonderful weekend! x

glamour 2002

how to do anything better, glamour 2002. This page has such appeal.. no wonder I tried the recipes and have hung on to it for so long..

raspberry french toast + baked grapefruit. Seriously SO good. Kevin looks at me a little funny every time I put one in the oven. I've started having the grapefruits for breakfast everyday again, and no kidding, they have never been yummier. Go bake a grapefruit tomorrow :)

Smythe Jackets, a look inside

Smythe les vestes. Coveted Canadian made jackets. Iconic styling. I'm sure you've heard of them and the oh so talented ( and gorgeous! ) duo behind them, Christie Smythe and Andrea Lenczner. They have been so kind to give Flourish readers a glimpse inside their office in Toronto. What a space-

Love, love, love. A few well chosen pieces ( and statement jackets! ) creates a gorgeous environment. It's subtle, pretty and a compliment to the pieces, no matter the season. What an inspiration and collection board!

Smythe jackets have been seen on celebrities from Rachel McAdams to Blake Lively-

They have such a great take on a timeless classic. Perfect. Now to get me one... :)

Thanks Christie + Andrea for a wonderful glimpse into your space, x
