So I went out and purchased my first Chatelaine magazine today. ( Don't get me wrong, I love the new direction the magazine is taking, I usually just read my moms :) The reason for my purchase? Tamara Taggart. Tamara, along with her gorgeous children were featured this month. You may also remember my Q+A with this modern mommy. The magazine images were shot by one of our other friends Janis Nicolay. So fun to know these lovely ladies!

Tamara is a co owner of a fabulous Vancouver BC children's store called EIO A kids store. As a mom of two with number three on the way, Tamara understands the importance of staying organised, and as a mom, I can attest to how hard that really is.

I was called home from work last night to take Calleigh to the doctor.. sore throat, bad cough. So no time to put together the great post that our great giveaway hosts deserve :)
So instead-

What a great entry / hall, I love the hooks. I have an XYZ from Anthropologie that look similar, might have to rehang them... toys that look good...and yet another gorgeous kitchen. I know, I know, I have a thing for white, add a touch of that green and it's got me- and fingers crossed my little munchkin is feeling better soon.

painting furniture

Do you play musical furniture? This dresser my mom + dad bought for Calleigh's baby room 5 years ago. She now has an armoire, so Lauren had the dresser. Now she has the white model of this dresser, and Calleigh's original piece is now my side table. So thanks mom :)
To get to the point, I am thinking about doing the same treatment to this as I did to my desk. Staining the outside darker and painting the drawers a creamy white.

In one word, swoonworthy. Anything you could ever want or need for a beautiful home. From furniture, bedding, lighting and bath to accessories. This store is on my list of must visit shops. And lucky for me, Vancouver isn't that far away. Just the website is dreamy, I can't even imagine the store itself. Here's a great example of what I'm talking about. I'm pretty sure you all know the 2010 Olympics were held in Vancouver BC. Well that's where The Cross calls home. They have furnished a show suite in THE MILLENNIUM PROJECT. This was the site for the athletes village, and is the last waterfront community-
